The Loyalty Card and What It Actually Does
Register at order.hungryjacks.com.au or in the app to activate the card, then earn on full price barista coffees, hot drinks and iced beverages at eligible restaurants. The free coffee stays valid for twelve months, it is pick up only, one per transaction, and it can be exchanged for tea or a specialty iced drink but never for cash.
The detail that matters most is that it stacks with a voucher. Hungry Jack's holds a strict one voucher per transaction rule across the rest of the menu, and the Jack's Cafe loyalty coffee is the one reward that redeems alongside it. Nothing else on this menu does that. The full voucher rules are here.
On the drinks themselves, the range covers more ground than most fast food coffee menus. The Short Black and Long Black both carry effectively nothing at 4 kJ and 4 kJ, the Piccolo at $4.25 is the small strong milk coffee baristas drink, and the Miniccino at $2.50 is warm frothed milk for children with no coffee in it at all.
The chai drinks are where the numbers jump. A Chai Latte at 1,620 kJ carries roughly three times a Latte at 534 kJ, because commercial chai concentrate is heavily sweetened. The Iced Dirty Chai at 2,150 kJ is the heaviest and strongest drink on the cafe menu, carrying both black tea and a full double shot.
The Hungry Jack's Jack's Cafe menu is the coffee side of the counter, and it is priced against a cafe rather than against the burger board. That is also why twenty items average under 900 kJ between them.
