Hungry Jack's Vouchers and Coupons
Where the vouchers come from, the one rule that governs all of them, and — the part nobody tells you — how to work out whether a voucher is actually cheaper than what Hungry Jack's already charges. No codes are listed here, because every code Hungry Jack's issues expires.
The One Rule That Governs Every Voucher
Hungry Jack's answers the stacking question in eight words: "Sorry, no. One voucher per transaction." One voucher per transaction. It does not combine with a second voucher, it does not combine with another discount, and some vouchers carry a minimum spend on top of that.
This matters more than it sounds, because it changes how you order rather than what you order. A family order run through the till as one transaction can use exactly one voucher. Split into two, it can use two. Staff are used to it and it is not a loophole — it is simply how the rule works.
The second rule is unwritten but just as reliable: a voucher is only worth what it beats. Hungry Jack's permanent ranges are aggressive enough that a percentage off a premium burger often lands above the Super Stunner price. Before using one, check it against $7.95 for a full meal and $2.00 for a single item.
The one genuine stack is the Jack's Cafe loyalty card, which redeems alongside a voucher in the same transaction. Everything else is one at a time.
Where Hungry Jack's Vouchers Come From
The app
Rotating offers plus Shake & Win, which awards a prize once a day. You get 30 seconds to accept and 30 minutes to redeem.
Printed booklets
Handed out in store and through letterbox drops. They change every few months and each voucher carries its own end date.
Receipt surveys
Some receipts carry a survey invitation that returns a code for your next visit. Check the bottom of the docket.
Your birthday
A free Whopper, issued on the day itself once your app profile includes a date of birth.
What a Voucher Has to Beat
These are the prices already available without one. Any voucher that does not land under the relevant row is costing you money rather than saving it.
| What you want | Cheapest without a voucher | Price | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|---|
| A full meal | Cheeseburger Super Stunner | $7.95 | Super Stunner range, permanent |
| A burger only | BBQ Cheeseburger | $5.95 | Penny Pinchers, permanent |
| Chips | Small Thick Cut Chips | $2.00 | Penny Pinchers, permanent |
| A drink | Large Frozen Drinks | $2.00 | Penny Pinchers, permanent |
| A Whopper | Whopper | $12.35 | Regular menu — the price a % off is measured from |

The Jack's Cafe Loyalty Card
The only Hungry Jack's reward that stacks with a voucher. Register at order.hungryjacks.com.au or in the app to activate the card, then earn on full-price barista coffees, hot drinks and iced beverages at eligible restaurants — 487 of the 489 run a Jack's Cafe counter, so eligibility is close to universal.
The free coffee stays valid for 12 months, is pick-up only, and is limited to one per transaction. It can be exchanged for tea or a specialty iced drink, never for cash. See the Jack's Cafe menu for what qualifies.
Voucher and Coupon Questions
Three routes, and only three. The Hungry Jack's app is the main one — offers rotate through the week and the Shake & Win game awards a prize daily. Printed voucher booklets are handed out in store and through letterbox drops, changing every few months. And receipts sometimes carry a survey code redeemable on your next visit. There is no permanent public code list, which is why this page has none.
No. Hungry Jack's is explicit: "Sorry, no. One voucher per transaction." Vouchers also do not combine with other discounts, and a minimum spend can apply to some of them. If you are ordering for a group, splitting it into separate transactions is the ordinary way around the limit.
Complete your profile in the Hungry Jack's app, date of birth included. The voucher is issued on your birthday rather than when you fill the profile in, so adding it the day before will not produce one immediately. It is a full Whopper — a $12.35 item — not a discount off one.
Often not. The Super Stunner range already puts a burger, chips and a drink at $7.95, and Penny Pinchers start at $2.00, both without a voucher. Hold every voucher up against those two numbers before using it — a percentage off a premium burger frequently lands above what the permanent ranges already cost.
Participation is per restaurant. Hungry Jack's is a franchise network of 489 restaurants and each one chooses whether to run a given promotion, which is why the app only shows you what your selected store is honouring. Airport, service station and some shopping centre sites are the usual exceptions.
Generally not. Delivery orders go through Uber Eats, which runs its own pricing and its own promotions — a Hungry Jack's voucher is a Hungry Jack's transaction. Use vouchers on pickup or at the counter, and see the delivery page for what changes when you order through a partner.
Yes, and it is the one thing that does. Buy full-price barista coffees at an eligible restaurant, earn a free one, and redeem it in the same transaction as a voucher. The free coffee is valid for 12 months, it is pick-up only, one per transaction, and it can be exchanged for tea or a specialty iced drink but never for cash. 487 of the 489 restaurants run a Jack's Cafe counter.
Every one of them. App offers usually run for days rather than weeks, booklet vouchers carry a printed end date, and the birthday Whopper has a short redemption window. Nothing on this page is a code, so nothing here goes stale — but any code you are holding almost certainly has a date on it.
