Hold onto your taste buds, this Whopper has got the lot. Two flame-grilled 100% Aussie beef patties with two slices of cheese, premium eye bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, onion, mayo and tomato sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun
The Ultimate Double Whopper is $18.05 and 4,401 kJ. Hungry Jack's describes it as the Whopper with the lot, and the build backs that up: two flame grilled Australian beef patties, two slices of cheese, premium eye bacon, tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, mayonnaise and tomato sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.
What separates it from the Double Cowboy Whopper is what it leaves out. There are no onion rings and no BBQ sauce here, so nothing sweet and nothing crunchy. The Ultimate is the savoury version of a loaded double: beef, bacon, cheese, and the same cold salad a plain Whopper carries. That keeps it closer to what people actually mean when they say they want a big Whopper.
Eye bacon rather than streaky matters again. It is the leaner back cut, so it holds a meaty bite against two patties instead of disappearing between them. With two slices of cheese there is enough melt to bind the whole stack, which is why this burger holds together better than most doubles.
On the numbers it sits at 62.9g protein, 80.8g fat and 1,959mg sodium. Carbs are 48.4g, lower than the Cowboy versions because there is no BBQ sauce and no crumbed onion in it. At 4,401 kJ it is a little under the Double Cowboy while costing about three dollars less.
Who it suits: the double Whopper orderer who wants bacon and cheese without the sweetness. It is the most straightforward big burger on the menu, and the one least likely to surprise you. Ultimate Double Whopper calories land it firmly in meal territory rather than burger territory.
Pair it with Small Thick Cut Chips at $2.00, or compare against the Double Whopper Cheese at $16.70 if bacon is not the point for you.
One Ultimate Double Whopper is 51% of the 8,700 kJ average adult daily intake. Figures are per serve as published by Hungry Jack's.

This is the double with everything except the sweet elements, which makes it the easiest of the loaded Whoppers to get right at home. No frying beyond the patties and the bacon. Makes 2 servings.
Serve cut in half with a small side. Two patties and bacon is already a full meal before anything else arrives.
