2x 100% flame-grilled Aussie beef patties topped with melted cheese, double bacon, crispy onion rings, smoky BBQ sauce, mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a toasted sesame seed bun.
The Double Cowboy Whopper is $21.00 and 4,897 kJ, which is the largest single item in the Whopper range and roughly 56% of an adult daily intake in one hand. It is the Cowboy Whopper with a second flame grilled beef patty, and every other element stays where it was.
The second patty changes what the burger is about. In the single, the onion rings and BBQ sauce are the loudest things in the build and the beef supports them. Double it and the beef takes the lead back, with the crunch and the smoke sitting behind it. Protein jumps from 40.2g to 64.1g, which is well past a full day's reference in one burger.
Sodium reaches 2,114mg, close to the entire 2,300mg daily reference, and saturated fat hits 32.9g against a 24g reference. Those two numbers are the honest reason to think before ordering, and they come from the double bacon and BBQ sauce more than from the extra meat.
Physically it is a difficult burger. Two patties plus onion rings makes a build tall enough that biting through all of it in one go is genuinely hard. Compressing it firmly first is the difference between eating a burger and dismantling one.
Who it suits: someone who has had the single and found it manageable. It also works as a shared item cut in half, which is how a fair number of them get eaten. At $21.00 it is one of the priciest burgers on the board, and per kilojoule that makes it reasonable value even though the number on the tag is high.
Pair it with a small side rather than a large, or skip the side entirely. Small Thick Cut Chips at $2.00 is the sensible ceiling here.
One Double Cowboy Whopper is 56% of the 8,700 kJ average adult daily intake. Figures are per serve as published by Hungry Jack's.

A double at home is not one thick patty. It is two thin ones cooked separately so each gets its own crust, then stacked. That single decision is most of the difference between this and a homemade meatloaf sandwich. Makes 2 servings.
Cut in half and serve with a small side, not a large one. The burger already carries what a burger and chips normally would.

$21.00, against $15.55 for the single. That gap buys one extra flame grilled beef patty.
4,897 kJ, which is about 56% of the 8,700 kJ daily intake. It carries 64.1g of protein and 2,114mg of sodium, the latter close to the full daily reference.
In the Whopper range, yes on energy. Across the whole menu the Grill Masters Double Cowboy Angus at 5,860 kJ sits above it.
Not as a menu item. The Triple Whopper Cheese at $20.10 is the three patty option, though it has no bacon or onion rings.
On energy for the money, yes, since the price rises less than the kilojoules do. Finishing one is a separate question. The calculator compares them directly.
