Two Angus patties change the heat rather than intensifying it. Beef fat mutes capsaicin, so doubling the patty against the same amount of sauce dilutes the chilli noticeably. This is a milder eating experience than the single despite being a bigger burger, which catches people out in both directions.

Who it suits: anyone eating for protein who also wants heat, and anyone who found the single spicy chipotle too small. Two people can share it comfortably.
