Hungry Jack's Secret Menu: What Actually Works

If the restaurant already has the ingredient, it can go on your burger. If it does not, no amount of asking will produce it. That is the whole system.

So a Whopper with bacon works, because bacon is in the Bacon Deluxe at $13.45. A Whopper with onion rings works, because onion rings are in the Cowboy Whopper at $15.55. A Whopper with a fried chicken fillet works, because the fillet is in Classic Jack's Fried Chicken at $10.80.

Additions cost money. Removals do not. Taking the onion off a Whopper changes nothing about the price; adding bacon does, and the extras carry their own prices on the board.

Whopper with bacon and cheese. This is effectively an Ultimate Double Whopper at single patty scale, and it is the most common off menu order in the country. Works everywhere.

Angry onions on anything. The crumbed chilli onions from the Angry Whopper at $14.05 go on any burger and add crunch and heat that nothing else on the menu provides. Particularly good on the fried chicken burgers.

A grilled fillet swapped for a fried one. Any of the Jack's Fried Chicken burgers can be built with the flame grilled fillet from Grilled Chicken instead. That roughly halves the energy: 2,843 kJ against 1,465 kJ.

Napoletana sauce on a beef burger. The tomato and herb sauce from the Napoletana Jack’s Fried Chicken works on beef and turns a Whopper into something close to a pizza burger.

Anything requiring an ingredient the restaurant does not stock. There is no secret sauce, no off menu bun, and no hidden size.

Breakfast items after 11:00 AM do not work either, and this is the one that catches people out most often. The grill switches over at 11:00 AM everywhere, including at the 34 restaurants that trade twenty four hours. Also not a thing: asking for a discount by naming a combination. Off menu builds are priced from their components, and the one voucher per transaction rule applies regardless of what you call the order.

Name a real menu item first, then the modification. "A Whopper Cheese with bacon added" is instantly understood. "Can I get the secret bacon Whopper" is not, and it costs everyone thirty seconds.
