The coating is thinner and finer than the crumb on Jack's Fried Chicken. It crisps rather than crunches, which suits a thinner fillet, and it holds mayonnaise without going soft the way a heavy craggy crumb would.

- The three stage crumb matters here. A flour only dredge does not hold on a thin fillet.
- Cut the fillet to the length of the roll before you crumb it, not after.
Variations
- Add a slice of cheese for a Royale with cheese, which the menu does not sell but should.
- Signature spicy sauce instead of mayonnaise gives it heat it normally does not have.
